www.michellekostya.com is my personal web site which serves as my online portfolio and central site linking together my digital life!

I am a Marketing Communications Manager at Cuisinart Canada where I oversee the Canadian marketing activities including; PR, websites, consumer shows, advertising and sales promotions.

I began my love affair with the digital world in 2000 when I took a course on HTML and Web Design. While, "web developer" is not my career path I felt the course would be helpful in the future as the importance of the Internet increased. As a marketer it has never been clearer to me that an understanding of the digital space is now a necessity!

Not only is knowledge key, a marketer must live in the space and they must take part in it actively. We can use digital marketing to market our brands, communicate to our customers and even to promote our "personal brand"!
